During Coronavirus we got lost among the posters of the street campaign Poster for the People or in the funny stencils of Bansky inside his home. This time, however, a street art intervention has radically changed the facade of the Louis Vuitton headquarters.

We are in Paris, more precisely in the Pont Neuf district, and the mural by Luckylefthand "Nine Colors, Nine Eyes and Nine Hearts" catches the eye with an extension of 280 square meters and 14 coloured paintings on the windows of the large French company. Pseudonym of Steven Burke, Luckylefthand let himself be inspired by the landscapes of Hossegor, a French city. Among the images represented, we can see the sun setting over a shimmering body of water, trees and rainbows that extend over landscapes with saturated colors. To represent these multiple suggestions, the artist used a condensation style inspired by the aesthetics of the 60s and 70s, simple but suggestive forms that convey an idea and a feeling of positivity and liveliness.
Through his art, in fact, Steven Burke wants to send a message of optimism and comfort during the current blockade due to the Coronavirus. On his Instagram profile Luckylefthand explained the meaning of his work and described the lockdown as a disturbing and magical period, he concluded the post with the hashtag #loveisthecure. Against the fear and difficulties brought about by the COVID emergency- 19 the antidote we can put into action is the power and sweetness of love. In short, a rather special return to France for the street artist who thanks Louis Vuitton for giving him the opportunity to paint in Paris, an experience so significant as to define it as a dream opportunity. The artist clarified the purpose of his work by stating: "The idea of this fresco is to cheer up the daily life of passersby". He added: «The graffiti wants to offer a colourful landscape, punctuated by physically separate hands but connected to each other by positive waves. A sort of gigantic postcard that connects us to each other ».
The hands are a recurring motif in Luckylefthand's work and are the metaphor of humanity in its most universal form. They are about one and a half meters apart but linked in spirit rather than in closeness, the hands represent today's mentality. About his work, Steven Burke said: "I wanted to create this mural to offer Parisians a colorful walk beyond the 14 windows, evoking a summer vacation while representing the temporary period we are going through."
