To Dream, to Collect

Photography represents a more affordable and accessible entry point to the art world than many other mediums.

For this purpose, Kooness is delighted to present a stunning selection of photographies in order to start building a significantly important photography collection. Among the fine artists Kooness proposes, there are the Maltese photographer Charles Paul Azzopardi, the Swiss filmmaker Edo Bertoglio and the Turkish equine photographer Melis Yalvac

Charles Paul Azzopardi is a physician, a quasi-writer and a master fine art photographer who focuses his artistic research on conveying new eclectic dimensions on his photographies. His series called “I Cortili della Vita” reflects the beauty of a secret and hidden Milan, with its charming courtyards and pieces of sky. Kooness presents an extraordinary selection of Azzopardi pictures sold online.

The famous filmmaker and photographer Edo Bertoglio gave a significant contribution to international film directing. In 1981 he directed “Downtown 81”, a movie showing a typical day of the young artist Jean Michel Basquiat and he regularly collaborated with the “Andy Warhol’s Interview” magazine from 1978 to 1982. Kooness hosts a selection of fantastic portraits of famous artistic personalities immortalized by this extraordinary artist.

Melis Yalvac can be considered as one of the greater equine photographers of her generation. She’s a 29 years old Turkish photographer based in Milan where she studied architecture and classical dancing. Melis mainly works with horses, by catching a magic silence before a tempestuous action. A small but charming selection of Melis Yalvac’s shoots is available for sale on kooness.com.
