March is right around the corner and we can already feel those spring positive vibes knocking at the door. A new energy is flooding from Art Galleries, Museums, Cultural Institutions and Independent Venues which are slowly opening again to the public with new artistic programs, thanks to their artists’ work and curatorial boards.

For the next weeks, Rome will definitely be the city to be in. Despite the presence of some incredible museums, the Italian Capital has often been put in the corner when it comes to contemporary arts and event, but this will not be the case during the coming months. Indeed, along with the splendor of the city itself, Rome will be hosting very interesting events in the following months.
MAXXI Museum - National Museum of XXI Century Arts -, for instance, reopens its doors with a wide proposal of exhibitions, focuses and special projects, online and in presence, that deals with different topics that spread from historical architecture – as Aldo Rossi retrospective – to the less known, because belonging to a niche, but very refined point of view of Isaac Julien on Lina Bo Bardi-. The exhibitionLina Bo Bardi - A Marvellous Entanglement is “an exciting tribute by the English artist and filmmaker Isaac Julien to the great Italian-Brazilian architect” indeed. Historical Italian Architect Aldo Rossi – also well told thanks to the documentary “Carlo Scarpa and Aldo Rossi. Masters of Poetry and Memory” produced by Rai-. Aldo Rossi. The Architect and the Cities, curated by Alberto Ferlenga, followed the retrospective dedicated to Gio Ponti and focuses on Aldo Rossi original attitude towards certain cultural and architectural projects, domestic set-ups and archive materials.
The MAXXI Architecture archive, as well as archives and collections from all over the world, are on display: “famous drawings, projects, writings and a spectacular series of models, a kind of imaginary city, tangle of ideas, images, places, identities and memory”. Still, once in Rome, a must-see exhibition is for sure the four-year event la Quadriennale that this year is titled “Fuori/Out” at Palazzo delle Esposizion.
