To Dream, to Collect


Today marks the opening of the 21st edition of MiArt, the modern and contemporary art fair of Milan, which will run through the 10th of April. 154 international galleries from over 16 countries will participate


To cater an international demand, the fair will include a new “Decades” section where visitors will be taken through each decade of the 20th century with a specially strong focus on the post war period in Italy.



In adjunction with the fair a series of MiArt talks, open to the public, will be held during the fair's three days. These will be made up of a series of lectures, conversations and interviews involving over 40 prestigious international personalities over a different range of creative fields, including curators, artists, directors of museums and film festivals, collectors. These talks are meant to promote people to look at the relationship between the visual arts and the worlds of experimental cinema, music, video, theatre and dance.
