About PULSE Miami Beach 2017
PULSE Miami Beach returns to Indian Beach Park to celebrate its 13th edition from Thursday, December 7 through Sunday, December 10, 2017.
The fair will showcase over 70 exhibitors from across 5 continents and will continue to present its key programming features PLAY, PROJECTS and PERSPECTIVES.
This year, visitors to PULSE Miami Beach will be greeted by the PROJECTS Special Commission featuring Hector Arce-Espasas. Created specifically for PULSE Miami Beach, Arce-Espasas' large-scale use of palm trees, fruits, and the Latin derriere creates an indexical visual experience on the notion of the tropical paradise by constructing new realities, or rather, new fantasies.
Inside the fair, additional PROJECTS will be interspersed throughout PULSE’s two tents and will feature site-specific installations, sculptures and performances.
PLAY, the fair’s dedicated showcase for video and new media, will present 10 works centered on the theme Power, allowing visitors to explore ways in which artists utilize new media. Between its international exhibitors and dynamic programming, PULSE Miami Beach continues to engage visitors in an environment that celebrates the contemporary art being produced today.
