Established in 1986, Galerie Pascal Gabert is situated in the heart of the Marais, an area of Paris known as a focal point for contemporary artistic creation. A member of the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art, the gallery has successively participated in the FIAC, Saga, Découvertes, Art Paris, the Salon d’Angers, Drawing Now, Paris and St’art in Strasbourg. A hub of activity, exchange and dialogue, the Galerie Pascal Gabert has, over the years, successfully established itself as a point of encounter between art lovers, artists and writers. The founder of the gallery, Pascal Gabert, has been exhibiting contemporary artistic creation since 30 years. Whether painting, photography or sculpture, the contemporary art on view at the gallery is presented with a global, open and unprejudiced outlook, running to a rhythm of five to eight exhibitions a year. ‘My role is to discover and to establish a supportive relationship with the artists and to impress their image and their work upon the public. For me the role of a gallerist has much in common with that of a ‘ferryman’. My vision and my experience, in addition to my intuition, allow me to guide serious and amateur collectors alike towards the discovery of individual artists. Behind each of the works I present, there is the history and the future of the gallery.' Pascal Gabert
