The Gallery was found by Veneuzuelan-Swiss artist Federico Luger in 2005. Since 2005 FL Gallery has featured and promoted the work of young and established artists, produced several editorial projects such as Soft Cell, Gabriele Di Matteo's Toute une vie, tous les éléments, tous les documents and Diango Hernandez: Diamonds & Stones, and participated of numerous international fairs, among which Artissima; ARCO; MIArt; PINTA; art-UNTITLED, Drawing Now Paris. Since the opening of the first space, Luger preferred to continue his artistic practice in secret; until 2013, when he decided to resume his activity as a full-time artist, and occasional curator. So the gallery was renamed as FL GALLERY, and since then is directed by Gabriela Galati, an art historian specialised in contemporary art with fifteen years of gallery experience. The gallery organises the itinerant exhibition series THE IMMIGRANTS in different temporary locations around the world.
