Founded in 1964 under the name of Il Segno, the gallery has embarked on an important collaboration with some of the major international artists - including Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Alberto Burri, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Giacometti and Fausto Melotti - who brought to be the protagonist of the Italian panorama of the following decades. In 2014, with the fiftieth anniversary of the foundation, the gallery changed its name to Francesca Antonini Arte Contemporanea, marking the start of a new exhibition path and the renewal of its research field. More oriented towards emerging young art and experimental languages, the gallery has started new collaborations with foreign artists and intensified its presence on the international market, with participation in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
