The Galerie Ditesheim, located in the heart of the old town of Neuchâtel, was founded in 1972. Its founder, François Ditesheim, has been exhibiting contemporary Swiss and international artists for more than 40 years. The Gallery regularly participates in Paris, the FIAC, artparis, the Salon of Printmaking, the Salon of Contemporary Drawing and the Pavilion of Arts and Design, the Drawing Salon and Artgenève. On the other hand, she regularly participated in ArtBasel from 1976 to 2007. From 1989 to 2006, François Ditesheim was associated with Jan Krugier Geneva, Jan Krugier-Ditesheim & Co. Gallery, Geneva. Since its creation, Galerie Ditesheim has devoted itself mainly to the field of printmaking and drawing, 20th century above all. Artists such as Piranèse and Goya have been exposed to modern and contemporary productions in personal and group exhibitions, such as Erik Desmazières' drawing and engraving. Since 2013, Patrick Maffei (who joined the gallery in 2005) has become a partner and the new name is Ditesheim & Maffei Fine Art SA.
