About the Artist

Tamara Arroyo (Madrid, 1972) is a multidisciplinary artist who often works rethinking both domestic and urban space in relation to her own history. She has developed drawing projects but also other media in which she explores the values of space beyond its conception or its nomenclature. She investigates the intrahistory of the places we inhabit and translates it into semiperformative works in which she expands the space and explores it plastically. She has often worked in photography and drawing and has made several public projects in which she interacts with the public at other levels.
