Sara Argiolas was born and grew up in Cagliari, where she graduated from the Liceo Scientifico and went on to study Cultural Heritage. From a young age, she has been passionate about the world of photography and art. Her attention has always been captured by the world around her, whose thoughts and emotions she wants to express. After years as a self-taught photographer, she attended the Photography School "La Bottega della Luce" with which she participated in several collective exhibitions. She experiments with different photographic styles, becoming passionate in recent years about the conceptual style and photo manipulation of reality on which she bases her practice, telling what she feels. She likes streetphotography and anything that catches her eye but does not like to categorise herself in a specific field.

She took part in several international competitions, obtaining several special mentions and being a finalist in a group exhibition at the Ashurst Gallery in London in 2020.

In the same year, she self-published the catalogue of her Psyche Project, bringing some of the works featured in it to the renowned Looking for Art Gallery in Milan, which she joined in 2021 as a young artist.

In the same year, she won third place at the VI Michelangelo Buonarroti International Prize in the Digital Art category with the work Self Judgement and exhibited it in the prestigious Palazzo Mediceo in Seravezza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also in 2021, she joined the group of artists of Castia art in Cagliari, debuting at the collective exhibition with four works from her new photographic project 'Spaces and Silences'.
