Santiago Luis Ferrer - KENDER (La Habana,1965), graduated from the National School of Fine Arts "San Alejandro". "Since 1990, the artist has participated in 14 personal exhibitions in Cuba, Italy, Holland and Spain; and Spain; and more than 50 group exhibitions, most of them in Italy and Cuba, as well as in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Argentina, Spain and England. He has also produced illustrations for books and magazines. In 2003 he received one of the most significant prizes in the panorama of Cuban and international painting: The Salon "Servando Cabrera" Salon. In addition to his work as a painter, Kender is also the coordinator and curator of the "Espiral Infinita" project. Espiral Infinita" project, which brings together the most prestigious abstract artists in Cuba. Together with this project he organised important group exhibitions of abstract art such as 'Turbolencias Post' and 'Marea pero me encanta'.
