She has worked under the tutelage of renowned artist Mr. Rameshwar Broota at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi. She has studied History and Art and has completed a Senior Diploma in Art from Bangiya Parishad, affiliated to Rabindra Bharti University, West Bengal.

Her current series titled “The Rooted Series: Reclaiming the Lost Space” aims to establish a vital link between individual creativity and the environment. It emphasizes the fact that we as humans are exploiting our natural resources but are not adequately conscious of this organic unity we share with the natural environment. Art has always drawn inspiration and vitality from nature, but it's time now for art to speak about the exploitation of nature. The Rooted series explores the tenacious roots and their ability to reclaim the space that has been denied to them by senseless human intervention. Their stoic presence and their indomitable spirit have been an inspiration for her work. Her art intends to speak through images that
assert our need to go back to our roots and to mother Earth. In this endeavor, she also taken tools from nature, which primarily include paper, ink, graphite, and charcoal. Her vision and mission through this series would be to create awareness among people about the interdependence in this complex ecosystem that we are a part of. Our emotional well-being is deeply connected with our surroundings.

The series titled “Fragmented Spaces” has been a very personal journey for her that explores a sense of belonging to a place called home. It presents the memories of a childhood home where in the absence of any green spaces, the terraces, parapets; staircases served as playgrounds. The perils of rapid urbanization have taken a toll on our eco-system. The need of the hour is to acknowledge and work towards creating a balance amongst the varied elements of nature.
