Raffaele Cioffi (Desio, Italy, 1971). In Cioffi’s paintings, light is the fundamental subject. More than in Smarginatura 1, our tip few months ago, “Soglia doppia” clearly indicates this poetic focus. He largely studies it, as it offers an effective visual impact unveiling abstract and inner realities. His work catapults the audience into another level of reality and it underlines a detachment from this world. Cioffi’s art has been acknowledged in Italy and abroad and it has been exhibited both in public and in private institutions, in solo and group exhibitions. He lives and works in Milan.

1971 , Italy

Born in Desio (Milan), in 1971.
Lives in Milan and works in Lissone.

Cioffi graduated at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera a Milano with Luciano Fabro, but he clarified the orientation of his search thanks to the connection with masters such as Claudio Olivieri and Mario Raciti.

Having exhibited for public and private institutions, in solo and group exhibitions, his art has been acknowledged in Italy and abroad.
