Alfredo Álvarez Plágaro (Vitoria, 1960), often simply PLÁGARO, is a Spanish painter. Licensed in fine Arts. He currently lives and works in Madrid.
Identical Papers consist of the manually mechanized repetition of the same motif painted in the same way, without seeking in any case the conscious difference. His work is developed in these coordinates since the end of the eighties, PLÁGARO does not take the theme of repetition as a temporary adventure but as the main manager of his work. He uses his creative freedom to limit his own freedom.
