Rabbit-shaped sculpture handmade by artist Paolo Pastorino, an Italian artist marked by Neo-Pop Art.

Initially, the artist creates a draft by hand and then proceeds with the design and 3D computer technology printing for sculptural post-realization in white ceramic followed by several stages: a first firing at 1000°C and glazing in white majolica ( according to the dictates of the historical Albisola ceramics ), a second firing at 940°C, a mirror silvering stage, and a final stage of glazing with colors and chromatics of precious metals (silver), final firing at 100°C.

In this case, the artist dedicates the subject to Diabolik, a famous comic book character created in 1962.

Each piece, as it is handmade, is unique. The work is archived in the artist's general catalog.

Paolo Pastorino was born in Savona, as son of two artists who introduced him to the artistic world, particularly painting and ceramics. He graduated from the Polytechnic of his hometown and enrolled in the Faculty of Microelectronic Engineering. He received most of his artistic training in the family's art ceramics factory, where he came into contact with several master artists, such as Antonio Sabatelli, Luigi Valerisce and Renata Galbiati. In 1987, when he was 13 years old, he took part in his first public exhibition of ceramics at Genoa Spring Fair together with the Ceramists' Association of Albisola and his parents' company.

In Genoa, in the 1990s, he approached Hyperrealism. In his technique, Pastorino decided to alternate the use of classical tools such as the brush and clay to that of the airbrush pen. He produced works on various supports: paper, tanks, helmets, murals, t-shirts, paintings... He looks to his university education to approach the use of computers in his artistic creativity.

Over the years, his studies have ranged in different fields: photography, advertising and design. In 2017, thanks to the spread of the 3D printing technique, he implements his works by merging prototyping in eco-plastic materials and ceramic art for new concepts of his feeling.

In 2018 he joined the manifesto of the "realvisualism" movement and in 2019 he founded the association "Real Visual E(art)h Movement" with other members. Today he defines himself as an artist marked by Neo-Pop Art.
