She was born on 30th August 1978 in Ljubljana. She graduated in painting from the University of Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design (ALUO) in 2003, and also enrolled in postgraduate studies of graphic arts at the ALUO.
With the Netherlands government grant she was studying historical painting techniques in Amsterdam in 2006, and later complemented her studies in Berlin, Istanbul and Paris, also with the studies of academic drawing at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière. In 2013, she was nominated for the Henkel Art Award.
Her works are included in the graphic art collection of the Albertina Museum in Vienna (from the Essl collection) and the Arter Contemporary Art Museum collection in Istanbul.
