Technique: Print on Fine Art Paper Hahnemühle Photorag 308 gr / mq 100% cotton

Unreal and empty spaces, populated by remains of humanity. But the notation of loneliness is diluted by warm tones and the same underlying textures, the common denominator of all the work. The texture used for the funds, is a still life photograph of papers and letterheads of the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, recovered from antique dealers.


About the Artist

, Italy

Michele Ranzani was born in 1974.

He drew still life and worked as fashion photographer whilst at university. After graduating in history of art at Milan State University, he began working with portraiture and nude photography and deepened his historical and critical knowledge of 19th century painting and sculpture. This allowed him to experiment and develop a style which expresses a specific vision of reality he interprets through the human body and architecture. At his studio i-stantART he teachs portraiture photography, landscape photography and history of Photography. All images are limited edition and printed in a professional lab on Fine Art paper Hahnemühle Photorag 308 gr/mq 100% cotton
