Her photography takes inspiration by the most intimate sphere of everyday life. The body is the subject: by stripping off its daily clothing, the body can be free, and can go back to its primordial state. To capture this image, Marcella Savino uses different filters that allow her to highlight only essential emotions.
1979 Catania, Italy
Marcella Savino was born in Catania in 1979. In 2007, she moved to Milan to improve her photographic skills. Later on, she deepens her technique and knowledge working in a photographic studio and devoting herself mainly to fashion photography and portraits. In the meantime, she felt the need to carve out a world where she could express her creativity. Thus, she began a personal research which eventually revealed itself to be therapeutic and a necessary tool to tell dreams and fears.
