My paintings are famous for being full of colours and passion. The themes vary from abstract to very
unusual, bird view like landscapes. With encaustic and oil colours, I mainly paint intuitively and
spontaneously, bringing out the deepness from within myself. I named this process exposing infinity
– the inner abyss.
I have surrounded my life creating artworks since childhood. As I started to look for something
unique, unusual, but still using natural materials, „coincidence“ led me to encaustic - wax painting.
Encaustic is an unbelievably colourful and live art. My attention was caught by the possibility to
change the structures and practically the whole painting endlessly, always getting something new
and unexpected.
The process of painting is as exposing infinity – the inner abyss. Infinity in the possibility of shapes,
structures, patterns, colours, paintings, and artwork.
Recently I dwelled even more into the possibility of bringing beauty of a moment in nature closer to
us in this more hectic and more technical world. I achieved this by combining randomly found stone
and wood with encaustic.
Inspiration confronts me in every step I take, it is all around me. To tell the truth I cannot describe
how the creative process starts and goes on until I step away from the ready painting. I come to the
clean surface and just start painting. It is like meditating, a different state of mind.
