The society of information, advertising and consumption of images in the everyday life transmutes the values ​​of identity and forces a visual economy. That extracts those most influential signifiers under social reality meanings.
The portrait as a faithful identity reflection is a latent composition of an emotional and social state but it is also the projective format of identity that has proliferated the most throughout the history of art. The technological revolution gave an exponential boost and today is definitely the most active, prolific and universalized.
The reality, today, is fragmentary, complex in its statute, subjected to a temporality dismembered in pieces. The time could be possible to weave with threads of the past, new expressions with a massive approach to near visual aesthetics to the receiver.
Ina Mindiuz, interprets her artworks constructing with fragments of cloth, paper, paints an another image shifted in time. The invaded space is fragmentary, that have visual connection with the reality of the present continuous in which we live. 
In her collage exercises, Mindiuz sections, composes and transforms the visual plane from a variety of interpretations incorporating iconographic portrait references in the aesthetic space.
