Amon many subjects of night in Paris painted by Lautrec, stands out Yvette Gilbert, ancer that used to work at the Moulin Rouge, for whom the painter made seventheen lithographies. The character, rapresented without filters with a synthetic sketch, emerges with a theatral pose from the sketched screen. The artist highlights her caratheristics like her long, black gloves and her face with an almost caricatural expression and with the upward nose and the large, expressive mouth.
