"Myselfie - Homo Monitor" is the evolution of Homo Sapiens and stems from a reflection on the impact of smartphones on our daily lives. The smartphone empowers us, it becomes an extension of our body and our communicative potential. We communicate through monitors, receive input and send output. We send text messages, voice messages and finally emotions. Emotions in the form of icons-the emoji or emoticons-that become more and more evolved, more and more customizable, more and more like us. In this new evolutionary step, facial features will cease to have the function of expressing emotions, and as once happened to the tail of the first hominids, they will cease to exist. The Homo Monitor presents a face-monitor, worships the deity of Connection, the mother of all input, and it is not uncommon to find him exchanging tender "fund-monitor" hugs with other individuals. However, do not be misled: this is not love but pure data exchange. The "Myselfie - Homo Monitor," in fact, reproduces by budding since it is too enamored with itself - hence the common name "myselfie."

He lives and works in Milan where he is involved in industrial design and visual arts. From the world of design he inherited the enthusiasm for creation and the ease in transferring the idea into a concrete object. After a life at the computer - between play and work - he rediscovered the pleasure of getting his hands dirty with the most disparate materials, first brushes, acrylics and spray cans, then resins, enamels and cement experimenting, from two to three dimensions, the different degrees of freedom of the artistic gesture. In the last year she reconciles the virtual world with the materiality of materials by experimenting with 3d printing techniques by her own hand.

Fè is fascinated by the contemporary world in its complexity, contradictions and entropy. Creating helps her reflect on issues related to contemporariness, common dreams and fears. The issues she addresses stem from an expressive urgency and range from diversity as a value, to affectivity under social distancing, to human adaptation to technology and related digitization. He has no pre-conceptions about how to approach "art" and approaches each project differently by freely exploring new techniques: from concrete cast in molds and ceramics to the world of computer graphics and 3d modeling and printing.
