"Home to around two hundred tiny bars, Golden Gai is an atypical enclave. In his 1983 Ozu tribute film, Tokyo-ga, Wim Wenders shot a scene in one of them, La Jetée, named after a Chris Marker film. Éric Bénard has been a freelance photographer and editor since 1989, after training in economics and Chinese, Éric Bénard works for the press, publishing and corporate.
