Enrique Ježik's work is based on multidisciplinary practices focused on direct and explicit attacks on censorship, surveillance and different forms of control strategies, being radically
critical of normalised, legal or falsely democratic repressive systems and mass media dynamics of communication and politicisation. The tension generated by the violence and aggressiveness in Ježik's pieces is experienced not only by the viewers, but often implies a real, potential or latent risk from the production processes. Ježik establishes references to art history, such as American minimalism or Russian suprematism, with specific formal and conceptual implications in each case.
