Eamonn Higgins is one Ireland’s most talented sculptors. Talking about his work, he comments: ‘Obsessing over technical experimentation has informed the abstraction of my sculpture. In truth I am an abstract artist working within the framework of animal or human figurative. This muscular canvas holds my expression. To create a sense of intimacy, to draw you in to my personal aesthetic. I hope to preserve our sense of self value through a reflection of the human experience.’

, United Kingdom

Eamonn Higgins remains one of Ireland's most talented sculptors. He has been working as a professional sculptor for twenty years, as an artist blacksmith and owner of Hot Milk Forge Blacksmithing School. He has created a variety of large and smaller scale sculptures for public art projects, artistic residencies, and commercial galleries. His work has been exhibited and collected internationally, and it is also held in public collections (including of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland).

Talking about his works, Higgins comments: ‘Obsessing over technical experimentation has informed the abstraction of my sculpture. In truth I am an abstract artist working within the framework of animal or human figurative. This muscular canvas holds my expression. To create a sense of intimacy, to draw you in to my personal aesthetic. I hope to preserve our sense of self value through a reflection of the human experience.’
