The work of David Monrós is decisively marked by his influence of the sea. His cultural roots are deeply Mediterranean, providing that extra light and vitality to all that he creates. His anarchic style which is at times chaotic, captures the ever changing vortex of live, which is expressed in every detail. His style comes from a life lived to extremes, from his days of hedonistic mayhem in Barcelona to the tranquility of the ocean floor, a true existence, with one foot on the land and the other in the water.
In 2022 David became the Free Diving champion of the Balearics (in his age group).
His work is highly desirable throughout Spain and if you visit any one of the three Balearic island it won’t take long before seeing one of his paintings hanging on a wall in a beautiful sea view restaurant. David has exhibited internationally in the USA, China, United Kingdom and Germany.
