Ciby's art practice is influenced by his love for Church and the peaceful atmosphere within, constantly listening to the chants, witnessing the rituals, the Monks, and the icons as well as paintings displayed inside the church.
The artist uses his practice to connect in-depth with his inner thoughts and find the purpose of life. Portraiture and human figures play an important role in Ciby's work but the figures painted are imaginary to give more importance to the thoughts than the external appearance.
Ciby completed his BFA and MFA (in portraiture) from Sir J J School of Art in 2015 and 2017 respectively. He belongs to Maharashtra.
