Connemara

Benoît is a French artist born in 1970 but he has only painted for 10 years. Self-taught, he defines abstraction as a better playground for his artistic expression. He approaches his creative process with a sense of urgency, producing, erasing, then starting over, often recycling his paintings. He works mainly with acrylic, and sometimes mixes other mediums including ink. His works, both dark and colorful, loaded with matter or minimalist, challenge and touch the spectator. Often awarded in France, his work is beginning to be recognized internationally.
