Bedamati's art practice is heavily influenced by her surrounding. She is inspired by artists like Somnath Hore and Chittaprosad Bhattacharya. Bedamati's work tries to depict the darkness and suffering during the current pandemic times where people are struggling for food and for living and obtaining their basic minimum amenities. The artist finds etching to be the best medium to represent her thoughts, exploring the idea of creating different forms through lines, where tone plays a major role to enhance the visual complexity.
Bedamati belongs to Orissa and did her BFA from B K College of Arts Bhubaneswar in 2017. She finished her MFA in Graphic Arts from MSU Baroda in 2021.
