Ankit's artistic exploration involves creating work that deals with the fragility of human relationships and sexuality. The artist began experimenting with nude self-portraits from an early stage and photography as a medium gave him a sense of grounding and a way to build a relationship of acceptance with himself. 

Engaging with photography as a livelihood amidst the noise of technology and the rampant internet life, Ankit feels the need to revive the intent behind the photograph, which is increasingly disappearing.

Ankit belongs to Bangalore. He completed his B.Sc. in Economics, Mathematics and Statistics from  St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore in 2017. He also has a Theatre & Performance Certificate, MFA, from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore(2014).
