Born in the USA in 1969 currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Committed to the decisiveness and precision of working with large and medium format cameras, Hedison addresses the interstices between tradition and novelty by exploring the transitions between the two. Each of her photographs is a direct encounter between the individual and the immensity of the landscape, both architectural and natural. She often focuses on synthetic veils in ordinary environments, identifying a conceptual space between places.
