Albert Pinya is a painter who lives and works in Palma de Mallorca. Through drawing, painting, sculpture and installation, the artist creates imaginary scenarios full of figures and colours... a personal and recognizable universe. An imagery taken from films, TV series and the universeof cartoons and comics. For this project Albert Pinya, one of the most popolar Spanish artist, melted his Majorca’s roots, with the use of the typical texture of the island, together with his ironical and pop style, to underline some conflicts about our everyday reality and society.
