Willy Ronis is a French photographer, his work shows life in post-war Paris and Provence. He is one of the most important representatives of French humanist photography along with Édouard Boubat, Jean-Philippe Charbonnier, Robert Doisneau, Izis and Sabine Weiss. He defines the humanist school as “the gaze of the photographer who loves the human being”.
