USAMI Kunonori was born in 1929 in the Nakano-ward of Tokyo. He participated in numerous exhibitions held by JIYU BIJUTSU KYOKAI, released artworks at the Shutai Bijutsu Kyokai and continued to showcase his works at exhibitions held by the association till his passing in 2014.

Although Usami is currently unknown, his paintings exude an extraordinary charm and are viewed to have immense potential. Mr. Usami was a graduate of the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, and worked there as a technical officer. There is a lot of novelty surrounding this artwork that has resurfaced today, from which we can feel a profound spiritual presence that many modern artists cannot produce today.
