Matteo Piccolo, aka Teti, was born in Milan in 1987, where he still lives and works in the southwestern suburbs of the city. Since he was a child He approached the world of art, especially Street Art, which he daily met on the streets. In his early teens, he studied and practiced as a self-taught, artistic techniques such as stencil-art, poster-art and screen printing. Over the years He experimented successfully with new techniques such as: anaglyphic graphics and 3D prints, drawing inspiration from the great contemporary international artists and modern, getting very close to the Pop Art movement. Starting from 2011 he realizes many personal exhibitions located in private spaces.

For Teti, the inner world of man, the deepest emotions and sensations, constitute the starting point of his art. Each work communicates states of mind of restlessness and anxiety, the same that the artist felt during the entire creative process: from mental planning to its final realization. The subjects represented by the artist are extraordinarily evocative and enigmatic. The simple and primitive lines made with the roller refer to rock engravings, a purge of language from all its most elaborate forms, to get to the primitive heart: the sign. An art based on improvisation.
