Painting magical tales to make you think, dream and hope is the artist's artistic quest. Seeking beauty and emotion, she translates the energy of Nature in bold marks and vibrant colours to create imaginary landscapes.

Capturing, interpreting, and revealing this energy is at the heart of her work. The tales and legends of childhood also contribute to the story she is telling, one artwork after the other.

Inspired by Abstract Expressionist painters such as Sam Francis and Lyrical Abstraction artists like George Matthieu, she is also sensitive to painters who reinvent painting and writing by merging them, such as Julie Mehretu and Fabienne Verdier. The work of the latter on mark-making, gestural painting and creative energy is central to her research.

To create this magical world, she starts with ink, mostly on archival paper. Soft pastels are then used to highlight the lines and movements revealed by ink. The finishing touches are bold strokes of soft pastels to let the purity of the pigments radiate.

Her paintings are an invitation to meditate and to dream, a surge of joy and vitality, and an allegory of Nature to inspire strength, energy, and hope.
