Originally from Istanbul, Sinan Onurlu has kicked-off his photography with street life and cultural rituals, documenting the intimacy of day to day life. Fueled by his passion for filmmaking and writing, he started making conceptual photoseries, where the story or idea would be photographed in a linear or non-linear manner.
His photoserie 'Trio of Tribulation' was his first exhibition in Istanbul, followed by his mixed collection exhibited in Bodrum, Turkey.
Since 2019, Sinan has been living in Doha, where the extremely hot climate dictated him to go into the studio and make more indoor projects, documenting performance and physical intimacy.
