Eclectic in research and use of materials but consistent in a conceptual path that goes beyond the real to arrive at a new feminine figuration.
The female face and body are the focus on which he concentrates his point of view. Women suspended in an indefinite time and space, without gravity, often asleep, dreaming or absorbed in intimate thoughts and yet living, sensual and carnal presences that emerge from the canvas with all their physicality. His painting technique, precise but never academic drawing, and use of monochrome background make them cameos of refined poetics.
He was born in Palermo in 1985, where he lives and works. He received a bachelor's degree in painting and a diploma in graphic art from the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo.
