Silvia Giordani is a painter born in the province of Vicenza in 1992. In 2015 she obtained the 1st Level Academic Diploma with specialization in Painting, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. At the same institution, she completed her studies in 2018, obtaining the II Level Academic Diploma with specialization in Decoration - Contemporary Art.
Her current research focuses attention on the concept of landscape and its alteration by means of painting. The elements that populate her paintings are the result of the reworking of objects collected in a virtual archive. Reshuffled to define a new nature, the shapes are placed here in open and suspended places, created by means of flat backgrounds or gradients that cancel out the specificity of the place. The research focuses on the very definition of forms and on its complementary relationship with space.
