Scalarudgia was born in a family of artists: while her father was a former Beaux Arts graduate, her mother was a self-taught painter. In this romantic city, Scalarudgia spent the first twenty years of her life, in particular in the company of her undeniably talented mother, showing a predisposition for drawing. She left home at the age of twenty, becoming professionally independent at a very early age. However, suddenly an unexpected event disrupted her life and her points of reference and she did not emerge unscathed. For Scalarudgia, art and painting have always been a passion and an integral part of his life. Nowadays, Scalarudgia lives in Boulogne in the Hauts de Seine.
