Saulo has been involved with painting since he was 12 years old, but he has always had infrequent performances – the artist even studied Fine Arts at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), but left the course. “I'm self-taught, I started to study a lot by myself and I've been accumulating knowledge this way, consulting the works of several international artists and trying to learn every day”, Saulo has been involved with painting since he was 12 years old, but he has always had infrequent performances – the artist even studied Fine Arts at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), but left the course. “I'm self-taught, I started to study a lot by myself and I've been accumulating knowledge this way, consulting the works of several international artists and trying to learn every day”.

Saulo says that the artistic inspiration for the works comes mostly from Impressionism, a movement created in French painting in the 19th century, during the so-called Belle Époque in the Brazilian artistic sector. “The inspiration comes from scenes from my daily life, portraying life in society, the movement of everyday life, something that is there every day, but we don't pay much attention”.

Thanks to his good command of light and shadows, Saulo developed a series of paintings with birds of the Latin fauna very well. Multicolored birds are highlighted by abstract backgrounds. In our collection you can check out a great presence and variety of these birds.
