His work is defined as dark-surreal, phantasmagorical, dreamlike, sometimes horror with
elements of sexuality and romance, psychedelia and spirituality.
He prefers the technique of oil painting, but he also uses a combination of other techniques,
including acrylic and watercolor.
In addition, Sancho has illustrated several books; he contributes to magazines and is engaged in
CD cover design and graphics as well as in various art designs.
From an early age, Sancho showed his inclination towards art, painting and drawing, which he
later transformed into professional work with his first exhibitions in 2006.
Sancho was born in Borša, Slovakia in 1971. In his childhood, he was tutored by a local artist
who was developing his talent and later on, Sancho continued in his work under the supervision
of Prof. Bubán. Sancho is an autodidact. His work is marked by freedom and love for art in
general. It is full of inventiveness and limitless imagination.
Sancho has won several awards at regional and national competitions.
