River Claure (Cochabamba, Bolivia, 1997) is a photographer, designer and visual artist. His work playfully explores issues like the cultural juxtaposition and the construction of collective imaginaries. River’s approach incorporates the poetics of the “Chi’xi” concept (a word belonging to the aymara language that means “undetermined colour”, a consequence of imbricated fabrics). His images lead us, in these times of colonialism and post-colonialism, to question ourselves about the conscience that we have on the ways of continuation and discontinuation of our culture.

His project “Warawar Wawa” -son of the stars- is an appropriation of “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and a transposition to the aymara indigenous cosmogony.
