Rachel Krief is a photographer and director. She's an image maker.

She loves to tell stories and she loves to build them. For her, this is a way of putting a distance between reality and fiction.

Her grandfather, an atypical character, loved cinema and photography above all else. Rachel inherited both of these passions. Her photographic work is cinematographic and dreamlike. Her desire is not to show reality but to sublimate it, to make it poetic.

Her approach is to open up to questioning and reflection to create this eternal intrigue of the living. In her photographs Rachel talks about Women, loneliness and abandonment, recurring themes that she discusses.

She regularly exhibits her photographic work in Parisian galleries in solo shows or in collaboration with other artists.

- Humeur was exhibited at the Lubliner Art gallery and the Maître Albert Gallery.
- Eden Eden exhibition at the Galerie Maître Albert.
- Collective exhibitions of La petite collection for several years, at the White Galerie and at Bertrand Grimont.
- Collective exhibition Eye for Eye at Espace CO2.

She is a director of short and feature-length fiction films and documentaries. Graduated from Ateliers Varan in documentary production.

Rachel Krief is a member of SAIF.
