Priyanka Chandra is a Bangalore, India-based self-taught artist exploring outsider art. Everything that happens to us is an event that leads to what we become or what we want to become. The reason why she started painting was to express the experiences and instances of life.
Mementomori is dedicated to Ma. It is a Latin phrase that translates to 'Remember that you must die. It is about life, death and our time in between, which is the most integral part of our existence. She feels close to her when she paints.
In art and literature, the theme of Mementomori is often depicted through the use of symbols such as skulls, hourglasses, and withered flowers. These symbols serve as reminders of
the brevity of life and the inevitability of death.

She started painting in March 2020 which was the peak of covid »g. What started as a mere passing of time become a passion. Since then she has been painting. It's been 2 years now and this year we created Manentomori Art on 2 May 2022. It's been an incredible experience.
Since then she has created 80 Paintings of different dimensions. As they say, dreams do come true, she has been selected for exhibiting my paintings at Van Gogh Art Gallery, Madrid
(UN) Fair Milano.
Also, she was very fortunate to participate in Chitra San the Fair Organised By ChitraKala Parishath Bangalore India.
