Born in Milan and raised in Voghera. After studying Advertising Graphics in the province, he returned to the Milanese city to attend the Photography Course at the Mohole Art School, where he enriched his technical and conceptual knowledge of photography. Later, he approached the world of photojournalism, working with major national newspapers at only 19 years old.
POETICS
"Pietro Re's work can be traced back to a strong need to imprint his own language on photography. His passion for graphics and contemporary art leads him to a stylistic research that goes beyond the codes of pure photographic language, without any fear of deforming and deconstructing reality, constantly searching for new means, techniques and approaches that derive from the need to give free rein to his personal imagination".
