Peter Weideli, born in Zurich in 1959, has always expressed himself through drawing, watercolors, and photography. Fond of light, shadow, and simplicity, his work frequently takes the form of black and white photographs. This medium minimizes distractions, emphasizing the essence of the subject. Inspired by traditional papercuts, Weideli began creating his own from black and white photos. The result is a stark reduction to light and shadow, black and white. Through his images, he strives to evoke a sense of tranquility and simplicity, inviting viewers to dream and relax.
