Paula Blanco was born in Oviedo in 1996, where she currently works as a painter and illustrator. She graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca in the specialty of painting, studying for a year at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna.

She twice awarded with honorable mention in the San Marcos Awards of said faculty, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions.

The Covid has not been an impediment for her, since not only has she been able to exhibit online in galleries in London or Saint Petersburg, but, in addition, in 2020 she opens "Trasudores", her first solo exhibition at the Espacio Brecha gallery, the year in who also published his first book as a cartoonist, "What a shame to have been born" edited by Penguin Random House.

As part of her research work, she attended professor Gerardo Jorge’s seminar “Word in art” at the Centro de Investigaciones Artísticas (Center of Artistic Investigations).

She was part of one of the groups of Work Clinic, at master Eduardo Médici's studio.

In August 2013 she had her first exhibit in the United States, at Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts Gallery in Los Angeles, California.

Now, living and working in Los Angeles. She was represented by MS Art Gallery in San Pedro (Los Angeles, California) from March 2017 to March 2020.
