Natasha Vella Blanca is a self-taught artist who discovered her passion for painting more than 10 years ago. She started her journey into painting with watercolours and small impressionist works. She became a full-time artist in 2019. Natasha paints intuitive abstract works filled with the symbolism of nature as well as semi-abstract landscapes. She has also been creating sculptures and collages since 2022. The artist seeks new ways of expression through new experiments with colour and texture and materials
Through her works, she endeavours to convey her emotions and moods, while at the same time inviting viewers to an "open space" that they can fill with their own emotions and experiences. The artist creates intuitively, most often employing oils and pastels. All the artworks are characterised by rich colours and intricate shapes and lines. It is important for the artist that the painting speaks to others too.
